{"id":1033,"date":"2009-03-29T20:38:56","date_gmt":"2009-03-29T20:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/wordpress179\/?p=1033"},"modified":"2009-03-29T20:38:56","modified_gmt":"2009-03-29T20:38:56","slug":"rollapaluza-grupetto-willesden-cc-clubrun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thehippy.net\/blog\/rollapaluza-grupetto-willesden-cc-clubrun\/","title":{"rendered":"Rollapaluza (+ Grupetto + Willesden CC) Clubrun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehippy.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/media\/20090329-Ved_user1766_pic2773_1238342684.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" alt=\"Ved's pic of Kent's \"Mountains\" on Rollapaluza club ride\" title=\"Ved's pic of Kent's \"Mountains\" on Rollapaluza club ride\"><\/p>\n<p>(c) 2009 Ved<\/p>\n<p>Martin, Clive, Vedran, Scarlett, Desi, Ricky, Tom and Ant (ride leader) and myself (a mix of Rollapaluza CC, Willesden CC and Grupetto riders) covered a nice 65k roll around the Kent countryside today, plus another 85k for me getting from Ealing to Smithfield Market and on to Orpington (and back).<\/p>\n<p>Not so nice was someone&#8217;s foolhardy decision to climb Yorks Hill, sight of the famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catfordcc.co.uk\/Open%20Hill%20Climb%20-%20main.html\">Catford CC hill climb<\/a>. Scarlett (a seasoned hill-climber) and myself (a seasoned lard arse) both made it to the top clean. Scarlett in something like 2:30 and me in 3:something.
