Surely someone has turned one of these into a singlespeed or fixie? I was thinking of building one for a UK commuter! \ud83d\ude00 <\/p>\n<p>As with all buildups, it&#8217;d be purely for stupidity-factor and totally impractical I&#8217;m sure.. except for when it rains just a bit <i>too<\/i> much and I can fold &#8216;er up and dive onto a (hopefully bomb-free) train! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Hmm.. I&#8217;d google for it.. but.. <\/p>\n<p>Okay, I&#8217;m back and googling..<\/p>\n<p>It seems the SS Folder <i>has<\/i> been done.. by Argos, a UK department store!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sport.abcaz.co.uk\/5_1647936\/speciality-and-folding-bikes\/single-speed-folding-cycle.html\">Argos Folding SS<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/tech\/?id=2002\/news\/oct20\">SlingShot&#8217;s SingleShot<\/a> is another example, released in 2002.
