Off the air

Saturday Night Palsy

A drunken incident (bet you never thought you’d see that line on _my_ blog) means I no longer have a mobile phone or, for that matter, full movement in my right hand.

So, those who would call me (mortgage surveyors, debt collectors, etc), don’t bother, I will call you.

  1. Join us!!

The benefits are amazing: We’re more likely to be schizophrenic, alcoholic, delinquent, dyslexic, have Crohn’s disease (whatever that is) and ulcerative colitis (again, what?), as well as mental disabilities.

Chicks dig that shit. More than scars.

  2. Ooh.. wonder if your brain power increases because you have to use the right side of the brain for functions you usually might use the left to do…

  3. I play cricket left-handed so I’m already mixed up. But if you read this, you knew that already.

PA: Thanks but I’m not so sure I want SIF.

Rob: Custard hands matches custard brain.

  4. Bl**dy hell, what can I say? (Head shaking….) How much longer will you be ‘a leftie’? How are yu managing? Is it painful or no feeling at all? Will the feeling return? Do I have to spell out how dumb that was? Please try to look after yourself or I’ll have to come visit again!!!

  5. 4-6 weeks, maybe more.

I’ve got two hands, I’ll manage.

There’s feeling, just an additional ‘pins and needles’ sensation across the top of my hand.

    It should heal.

Dumb, yes. Regretfully, there’s not much I can do now except complain about the human body not being tough enough.

Who’d have thought a bit of a kip could be harmful?!
