Sure, it’s low fat and the rest, but I never would’ve associated “reformed bacon” with “healthy”.

I have found a solution to the problem of artificially sweetened cordial: Old Jamaica Ginger Beer. Just like my old man I’ve become a bit of a ginger beer nut. It’s more expensive than cordial, but it tastes way better and has SUGAR in it! Yay!

In other gastronews, I preferred the soy Yorkshire puddings and Leo cooks a mad, mad roast beef! 😀

I want to ride my bicycle..

I finally got back on the bike and rode into Courier Systems to get the form I need to hassle them about being underpaid. For almost a month off the bike I didn’t notice any issues and I felt my speed was comparable. Perhaps a slight reduction in weight means I don’t need as much effort to crest hills or perhaps the spin classes have maintained the riding legs?

I must’ve looked odd to the locals, wearing only summer kit and riding in the “just a little nippy” weather. Gets dark at 4:30-5pm now. Off the bike my skin was red from cold. So long as you keep moving (fast) there’s no problem though (don’t puncture!).
