Pump class?

Sit on ar$e and vegetate?

Submit your votes now.. or not.. you’ll be too late too affect my decision anyway.

Update.. 5 hours later..

Well, thanks for all the input dudes and dudettes, but the decision was made for me by the bus company. Left work at 6pm, trying to get something done after spending most of the day bogged down with a particularly painful contract.

Didn’t get home until 7.15pm due to extremely heavy traffic. This meant I didn’t have enough time to change and make it to the gym for Pump. Bugger! What to do? I know..

Punish the bus company! But how?

I know! Run an unprecedented TWO laps of EARL!

What does this have to do with the bus company? Nothing!

But that’s precisely how someone as silly as me thinks!

First lap was crap and I was was stomach-breathing quite early, in an attempt to get rid of a stitch. Huh?

I heard something about diaphragms being near the cause of stitches and pushing your guts out while breathing in helps sort it out. I’m not talking about those other diaphragms, ya dirty feckers!

Anyway, it didn’t work so I ran the loop with the stitch. 42min.

Surprisingly, I felt good after a 30sec stop to suck down some water I’d left outside the house.

More surprisingly was the fact I was soon laughing and running at the same time. WTF?!

I can’t remember what I was thinking about to make me laugh but laugh I did. Sure sign of insanity.

I felt the blister just behind the ball of my right foot coming back again.. ow! fark! Why!?!

The second half of the loop I noticed my legs getting a little pained. My knees and my shins weren’t feeling so good. That’s what you get for being as heavy as me and doubling your run distance without actually running much.

Incremental increases? Wha? ๐Ÿ˜›

The stitch hadn’t come back though. The arm warmers felt funny when I stretched my arms out. Seems they cut off the circulation slightly when my arms are bent into Ruining-Mode.

I pushed it a bit when I got back into Ealing (people were watching! :P) and felt good coming home.

Total time: 1h 26m.

Pretty damn consistent! If I was watching the clock I could’ve easily gone for the (wankerspeak alert!) negative split.. hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€

No, I’m not telling you how long the loop is – that would just be too embarassing!

Through the door, it was quickly pointed out by Adrian that I looked “fecked”. I tended to agree with his observation! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hardly noticed the run “aerobically”, but I’m sure the leggies are gonna hurt tomorrow. That makes for a painful top-half and bottom-half. Ahhh.. who says I’m not a balanced individual! ๐Ÿ˜›

  1. stop thinking, just do

pick one, next time pick something else

work your way down the list and start again

do every 2nd one then go back and do others………

  3. glucowhatthefsck?

I’ve heard of it but I’d need to look into it first and I don’t have my supplement books with me. Not enough time for googling nowadays but I’ll make a note of it. Ta!

  4. Yeh, I’ve had that for ‘crook bits’ and old age! Unsure how effective, might have to take for awhile to notice improvements.
