  1. I’m having a terrible time finding information about this grinder. Can you offer any other information about its origin?

  3. I guess they were made by Aristarco in Italy but they seem to be old or discontinued models. They appear more on German coffee forums. I’m going to ask a lfgss forum buddy to translate the last post which seems to suggest they might have been rebadged Mazzer grinders. Not sure yet though.

  4. Andrew: This is a basic translation of the last post in the German forum above. Thanks to Oliver Schick for this!

"quick summary: Aristarco and Mazzer are separate companies, but may use the same suppliers of parts (but he doesn’t know). Roger once had an EMA75 in for repairs (unsuccessful), and it consisted of the same parts as his Mazzer SJ BJ.74. He thinks that Aristarco LSM mills may be a completely independent product by Aristarco, as they don’t look like anything by Mazzer. However, that’s not to suggest that they may not be of the same technical standard."
