Cruisy couple of laps

44.1k trying to sit within 130-150 HR. The couple of RP climbs see me at 160 and to stay lower I’d really have to crawl up in my lowest gear. Hopefully this will come down as that’s fitness, right? There were a couple of other people riding around and some near invisible joggers. The deer were out and about too – had to slow right down a couple of times to make sure I didn’t skewer one!

    How’s the training going? Too hot to go out? I think you should just stay under the nice aircon and relax, make yourself a nice milkshake – don’t forget the whipped cream on top – and put your feet up. That’s it.. feeling sleepy? Maybe it’s time for a nap.. ahhh… you’re getting sleepy.. you don’t want to run anywhere.. you left your bike in London.. exercise is too hard… sleepy…

    Single malt? I thought you didn’t drink?

    I’m on day 2 of my alcohol ban (well, reduction). I went to a pub the other night with 3 people who were drinking beer and I only had Pepsi (in ping glasses mind). Sometimes I amaze myself! 🙂
