Silent Discos?

“The idea is ingeniously simple. Clubs give punters wireless headphones on entry, complete with volume, bass and treble controls. Clubbers can then turn the volume up to 11 and dance all night without waking up the neighbours.”

  1. Schwoit.

I hate clubs. Why the feck do they turn up the volume so much? They make the inhabitants progressively more deaf, so the next time they come, they have to turn the volume up louder. Stupid sods.

  2. Tim, I didn’t realise you were a father, congratulations! 😛

You don’t want to feel the music? It really can be quite a powerful sensation. Of course it needs to be the right music at the right time.

I hate going into a pub/bar that management try to turn into a nightclub simply by ramping the music up.

If I wanted to be in a nightclub I’d have gone to one, but I’m in a bar/pub for a drink and a chat so turn that fscking Top40 sh1te off – that means YOU Elk Bar!

Oooh, see what happens when I wake up before lunchtime? Nasty thoughts happen 😉
