It happens to all of us creative types dude. I used to write poetry (who didn’t?) and won some prizes for it. Then I had to pay bills, and the grinding realism of being adult tore any little dream out of it’s socket and fed it to canaries.
I haven’t decided fully whether to be one of the winners or one of the drunks. Both are hard work!

At the moment being drunk sounds a lot easier than winning. Maybe I could enter drinking comps instead of races?
