Why does anyone cook?

You need to know what to cook and how.

It takes ages to collect ingredients.

Ingredients are quite expensive here (vegetarian is the only way to go).

It takes too much time to prepare ingredients.

It takes too much time to cook the ingredients.

Results may very well be unsatisfying.

Gimme a microwave meal or 10min pasta dish any day.

Of course, tonight I’m actually trying to cook something other than pasta:

Bean Burritos!

Tee would appreciate these but it’s going to be Grant and Sheila on the stomach pump tonight.

All this of course means no gym tonight. 🙁

Me like gym. Had the f’ing BEST spin class last night!!

In a strange twist of fate, me, the ANTIrunner, may have accidently convinced poor colleague Sara to go for a run tomorrow! :S

I’ll wait to see if she actually does though. Should be interesting. Hope it stops raining – I don’t like soggy shoes.

  1. I didn’t go to the gym tonight. I also didn’t squeeze my money out of Courier Systems. I cooked. It wasn’t so bad in the end. London lettuce and tomatoes taste kinda funny but it was a filling result.

They don’t have Mountain bread here.

  2. Oh my – first you run – then you encourage others to run…

Hehehe you can be a Tam Boy hahahahahahaha!

  3. 😛

As soon as I get back into the riding groove, the running will cease, I’m sure.

I have no "hunger" for riding now. I think I need some competition to make me want to ride and ride hard.

I feel weak in Spin classes – not physically weak but unable to "push through the pain" mentally weak. This bugs me, but I’m hoping competition of some sort will fix me up eventually.
