?is something I want printed on a t-shirt, to wear while commuting. It has a nice ring to it and would keep drivers on their toes… if only they actually saw me.

I went out with an ice hockey player for three years. She skated all the time. I never did. After we broke up though I finally attempted to skate – what the!?

I was unco as all hell, barely able to stand up without falling over or moving unintentionally, but eventually I worked out how to move and slow to a stop. Towards the end of the 1.5 hour session, I moved away from the boards and got a little bit of speed up. Going beginner-fast was easier than going slow, the latter often requiring a mad grab for the boards, followed by a socket-wrenching yank of the arms. Fell over a few times and eventually got too tired to stay upright so I bailed and watched mates knock each other over. It was fun.
